I'm still alive! I have not gotten round to posting for ages. But I've taken quite a few pictures in the last few weeks:) so I've got something to show for it.
I'm still alive! In recent weeks, I am not come to write more, but I have done some of pictures, so there's at least watching what.
starting with the Comic Salon Erlangen, who made a lot of fun as always.
Last time - two years ago - the first time a sticker album was offered for Comic Salon. The participating dealers, publishers, artists and exhibitions could be producing stickers that visitors could then get on their stand. As the Comic Salon is actually spread throughout the old town of Erlangen and exhibitions in the art museum, city museum and various galleries take place, many visitors stay only at the Heinrich-Lades-Halle, it was a great idea, so you will notice as much of the salon. As you can see in the image that people this year were quite keen on the stickers. been
After the sticker from 2008 in retrospect we search the Internet, exchanges and negotiations in part on Ebay, were, unfortunately, some thought this year, they could bring their own nest and attacked from all stacks.
There is nothing to say against it, if you replace the one, two stickers longer driven than is needed for yourself (or even for himself and his friends). Some were so greedy that as early as Thursday evening, the first stickers were scarce. For the offer of the publishers was then also not even interested in decency's sake. Grave and Go!
The situation really took care of all participating dealers for resentment, as this was now not really the intention. Each solved the matter on their own art dealers who had produced a few stickers, put as only a part of to go: To get the other one had to ask for it and then exchange as against other stickers or show the album to which then the missing stickers were pasted. Others simply laid per day, a certain number of stickers on and if that was all that needed to seeking just the next Day will come again. (Which, of course bad for the people with day passes was - which was, however, if you love asked, ever made an exception). Or it has been taken according to the principle: What's gone is gone - thank you for the people who now have 10 times the sticker swap.
The reactions were mixed and significant. Most had no problem with the fact that this has been handled. In some but the moaning was great. Gladly, the argument was made "I'm still here today only." Now it was so that, for example, the sticker with the winners of the Max and Moritz Prize was spent only on the morning after the awards ceremony (Saturday), what the argument, at least on the first two Days completed fairly. Generally, we have noticed quite clear that some had primarily a problem with the fact that they did not get here today, here and now, what they wanted and ask ten times.
is noticed at all, not only us that many a collector's sticker appears to be a little "behavior problem" was.
That one where the stickers ausliegen open to take away, not even every big ask if you can have which is so understandable, but a friendly smile, nod, etc., with which it is recognized that one gets a present, seems to many already asking too much.
's experience on the first day we put the stickers are no longer open (or only a few), but sticking one of each kind on the cloth on our table so people can see, what we have and ask if ausliegen no more.
Many asked and really were very nice there.
Many a time we were also just stared and then there was only a "Eeh ... the stickers ...".
As the zombies. "Eeeh ... Brains ..."
Sad but true:
please? Thanks? May I? Can I? unfortunately many have not in their vocabulary. In other
wandered just a hand in passing on the sticker, that was without a word. Embarrassing, if not more precisely disbursements, anlupften and the fingers have the tablecloth with the glued samples. Some acted in the situation in amazement: "Oh, it's stuck" and asked if we still had stickers on them. Others were rather more quickly. "Nothing happened, no one has noticed something ..." Feel guilty if this secret Abgreifaktion? Evil to him who thinks evil of it.
took place on Saturday, as always, the comic outdoor flea market before and in the shopping arcade next to the Heinrich-Lades-Halle.
There were several exhibitions, as always, the very worth were: Wild West in the comic, a writer - six signatories, shorcut, Autobiographical Webcomics, The beginnings of the comics in the newspaper strips, Peanuts, Milo Manara, Duck-omenta.
I noticed is that the subject of manga in comparison to previous years, this time was relatively poorly represented and relatively few international guests (also from Europe) were present. The highlights included Milo Manara and Juan Gimenez.
Manara
Gimenez
